The Restore and Remove Webinar on 27th of October!


The Finnish Water Restoration and Management Network warmly welcomes you to the Restore and Remove Webinar on 27th of October. This webinar will be held by using Teams remote access system.

The webinar starts at 09:00 (EEST - Finnish Time, which is 8:00 CEST) and ends at 16:00 (EEST, which is 15 CEST)

The themes for the Restore and Remove Webinar are fish habitat restorations and migratory fish. This event is arranged annually and for the eighth time nationally and third time internationally in Finland.

The webinar is open for all. The first day of the webinar is an international day “The Restore and Remove webinar” with an emphasis on fish habitat restorations and improving the conditions of migratory fish populations. The workshops in afternoon will be held in Finnish. The second day of the webinar is a national freshwater restoration day, with Finnish as the main language, and where themes include catchment-scale restorations and networking.

The event has possibility to host 300 attendees.

The webinar is organized in collaboration with the Finnish Environment Institute, Freshabit LIFE IP, Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment in North Karelia, WWF, Kainuu and Koillismaa Kalaleader, Central and Eastern Finland fishery associations, Natural Resources Institute Finland, and a project funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (Operational Environment Programme for Finland). This webinar is part of the World Fish Migration Day 2020.
