Cosmic-ray soil moisture monitoring network - CEH (UK)

The network provides near-real time soil moisture data for use in a variety of applications including farming, water resources, flood forecasting and land-surface modelling. Each station is equipped with an instrument that uses cosmic-rays to sense soil moisture over an area of about 20 hectares (about 50 acres).

Earth Observing Laboratory - IRSA (I)

Airborne and hand-held Hyperspectral and IR spectroradiometers;  Georadar (GPR); terrestrial, marine, aerial mobile Laser Scanners; Octocopter and esacopter drones; Marine drone.

RAINSCANNER Weather RADAR – NTUA (GR)

It is used for the detection of rainfall intensity at short ranges. Combination of high resolution and rapid data update provides detailed information on local rainfall and early warnings of approaching storms
